MONSTER
MONSTER defamiliarizes the human form to interrogate the body (what makes a body normal or able, gendered experiences of the body, and the relationship between the Self and its container). In picturing myself interacting with my image via the mirror, MONSTER both represents the self/embodiment binary, and creates a new, satisfactory, cohesive bodily form.
