BEAUTS

ONGOING SERIES (2019-present) of images of young women presented through nonmale eyes, finding nuance and space for women’s true identities outside of the fem archetypes of Mother, Damsel, Venus, and Devil. I question the concept of popular versus aesthetic beauty (what we consider validly pretty, normal, or visually interesting) particularly in regards to fem depictions at their supposed "prime" in the contemporary era.
